Use

Used for the manufacture of dyes, matches, fireworks and synthetic rubber. It is also used in the manufacture of perchlorate and high pressure arrester. Vulcanization of sulfide rubber as solvent - resistant polysulfide rubber. Lead oxide electrode is a good anode material and can replace platinum anode.
