White crystalline powder. Relative density: 1.51, melting point: 462℃, can dissolve in water, slightly soluble in alcohol. Can absorb carbon dioxide from the air. Strongly alkaline. It does not burn, but it is highly corrosive. Usually occurs as a form of water.

Mainly used in the preparation of lithium base grease and alkaline storage battery electrolyte additives, but also applied to the petrochemical and glass ceramics and other industries
